I recently purchased a pair of Heresy 1 speakers built in 1981. When I opened them up I found that the K55V midrange drivers have been replaced with K-52H drivers and the crossovers have been modified to E-2. Just what do I have.

I'm looking for the difference in quality between the stock and the replaced drivers. Could I replace the midrange drivers with new ones from a Heresy 3?
