  1. These look cut-and-paste made up of some actual K-horn wood pieces and cheap plywood make-up pieces.  I guess we are looking at a "pair" of sorts, the finished one being a genuine "B" style. The other looks like a nightmare home-garage project.  Re the latter, the sides of the bass horn looks like cheap plywood slabs cut to fit, while the spacers for the side grill frames look more typically robust and have the classic dark brown paint of the genuine article (pic above), so it looks another one was taken apart and perhaps badly damaged.  The spacers for the tail board look very crude, as do the male-up angled  pieces at the bottom of the inside of the bass horn.   The one bass bin door we can see looks cheap and tacked-on.

So, that one is far from authentic IMO.
Thanks, Larry, much appreciated. Great breakdown
  2. Awesome, thanks Jimbo. Very much appreciated. I've wanted a pair for ....oh, over 20 years, so I definitely have the patience.

I'm going to wait on these.

    Thank you!

I would say they look authentic, but I would look closely at the very bottoms for any moisture issues/damage.  Crossovers would need to be replaced, and functionality of the drivers validated.  And, I would think you could find a nicer pair (with some patience), for close to that same asking price.

  3. I'm not familiar with the others you listed but I can say the Chorus II's are .... Bitchin. Just plain bitchin.

They are sturdy, solid, well engineered speakers that can make you hurt given the power and music combo. At the same time, their efficiency allows subtle sounds to be produced that many speakers miss.

I just downgraded my amps due to an electrical problem. I went from two Adcom 565 mono blocks to one Adcom 555. The Chorus II's still sing, push, bob and weave like no other I've had.

I picked them up off Craigslist for 250 for the pair (hahahaha a steal!!). This was 7 years ago. I've beat the hell out of them and have taken everything like a champ. They play awesome.

Get a pair if you can.

who knows them? how do they sound? I would like a klipsch similar to these. I have listened to the klipsch cf4 and the klipsch klf 30 a days I should also listen to the chorus 2 and make a decision on which to buy
    Thankyou

  4.

I've been looking for a pair I can afford for ......well, likely as long as some of you, haha. These just popped up for $2,500 OBO, so 2k depending on how they are in person

The pictures have me questioning the authenticity of these Klipschorns.
