Hello, I need some help to know what I am doing wrong. Do I have wrong AV?
I have just finished setting up my home theater with below speakers using Denon AVR S750h.
- 2 - R-625FA Tower Speakers
- 2 - R-41M Bookshelf Speakers
- 1 - R-52C Center Channel Speaker
Audyssey calibration did not come out asI was expecting so tried to calibrate using SPL measurements. However, even when I crank up the level adjustment to max of 12db, my SPL readings are still at 65db. Am I doing anything wrong?
i have volume set up as -75db to be 18db instead of 0-98.
are my speakers not receiving enough power or is there anything wrong in how I am measuring SPL? Using decibel x with “C” measurement with slow response.
attached is how my audyssey came up with in a 25x18 room.

I brought the exact same klipsch speakers and denon s750h. Ran through audyssey but not completely happy with the sound.
when I try to use SPL meter, even when I crank up the levels to +12db (which is the max), I still can’t get my SPL reading close to 70db.
Any suggestions on if I am doing anything wrong?
SPL meter reads wells below 70db even with max level adjustment of +12db
