  1. Yeah it’s a little lighter but it should take stain and I plan to sand whole speaker using 220 or higher and then refinish all hoping it blends. I’ve done auto body work and was going to treat it the same slow and steady hand sand and so on

you used the "oak" one? You should be able to get it pretty close if so.

Most of the repairs I have made were only noticeable to me:D Once you get it close nobody else ever sees it.

what wood filler was used? Hopefully a close match to the oak?

I used this because it’s what my local hardware store had in stock and it’s close I thinkF13E1505-DDD6-42E7-815A-A078DDD36311.thumb.png.4009319e743ad25ff1ad5178e964b0a9.png

I will take and share some but in the meantime I was looking for products or finishes that will get it close if not match the factory oiled oak

  5. I have a pair of Heresy II they are all original and in super good shape with the stands, original boxes and sequential numbers. They sound fine to me but I question if I should do some upgrades like recap the crossovers horn seals or change woofer. I feel leaving them alone will help resale as long as I take care of them but I know the internals are aging
