Seems the crossovers have been recapped sometime. I think you should just listen for awhile.
That’s a nice surprise! They were a local find I picked up several years ago. Beyond what I knew from the SN (consecutive too) I don’t really know their history. -
Success!
I was at least able to get the bits of drilled out screw completely out of the terminal.
In the meantime my “solution”:
They’re switch tips from my guitar parts bin. Just tight enough!

Correct, yeah. I just didn’t want to force it. If those screws are all there is, I have a rubber mallet and can try coaxing it a bit. Felt like a bad idea to blindly start trying to pry it off.
Regarding the terminals, I unfortunately had already ordered the two terminal version. Mouser already shipped it too, so I will probably use those at least for now.

Hello all, I’m wanting to swap out the terminals on my mid-70s Heresy I (long story short the heads of a couple of the terminal screws have broken off leaving the stem behind).
I ordered a pair of replacement terminals (Cinch 2-142 - appears to be a match) and I have everything I need to do the work, but I have two questions:
1. What’s the best way to gain entry to the cabinet? I poked around and removed the rear screws on one, but it didn’t seem “ready” to come off - I didn’t want to cause damage so I didn’t continue.
2. Is there anything else I should look to do to them while I have them open?
Thanks!

Either way, it’s good to know more about these.
The other one is 223, so 1975?
