Hello, I just got two Klipsch promedia 4.1 satellites in perfect condition from a flea market, without subwoofer and speakers wires but with the control pod. What would be the easiest way to connect them to my PC/monitor/console, please? I don't want to invest in any mini desktop amp or anything like that, I hope to find a 2.1 or 4.1 subwoofer in the future. I'm thinking of connecting the control pod to my PC's audio output; I can connect each satellite with 3.5mm ( 1/8" ) mono jack plug to 3.5mm stereo to an audio 3.5mm splitter jack that I can plug into one of the two minijacks on the side of the control pod. Would this solution work? If I'm not lucky finding a Klipsch promedia subwoofer, what would be a good substitution, please? -
hi i have a promedia 4.1 system but I do not have the subwoofer for it. It seems as though there is a unique connection from the main speaker to the sub that would only fit a 4.1 sub. I had an old 2.1 sub and the connection wouldn't work. Is my best option to look on ebay until someone sells one (none on ebay right now) or is there some sort of adapter that I can use to work on another sub?
