  1. I have this exact same issue... except mine is the left channel and not the right. I also get the mids cutting out (seemingly randomly), which sounds like what the OP described. Wiggling the audio cable (from the computer) usually resolves it, but not always. The cable has been bent up quite a bit, so it's reasonable to believe it's broken on the inside. While this makes sense for resolving the left channel issues, I can't see how this would affect the mids. I assume the DIN is the connector from the control pod to the amp on the sub? It seems fine, but I'll check that next. Mine are about ten years old, so they're the original design. if it is the DIN plug, can it be repaired or replaced? I see it on Klipsch.com, but I'm in Canada, so there doesn't seem to be a way to get it here.
