  1. For $15 more and assume same condition would you choose the KV-3 over the 2.2V? I realize that the 2.2v's go a bit deeper, but wondering which will be closest timbre-wise.
  2. Thanks, I think you are right, the R14's are out. I hear you about the 1.5, I'll think about those. It will be the 1.5 or .5 Regarding the center channel, I'm looking for a good condition KG 2.5 model. A local guy here has a KG 2.2V on craigslist at a good price. I'm tempted, but I know it wasn't built to exactly go with the KG .5 series. But maybe it would be close enough? Another local guy has a near mint KLF C7 for 3x the price of the 2.2V and I realize the C7 gets great reviews but again not sure on it's match with my KG 4.5's (and it's really big and would barely fit under my TV and not sure I could even angle it correctly). The other one I've contemplated is the KV-3 model. Thoughts on these (other than the obvious benefit of the KG 2.5 model)? By the way, can you lay down any KG 2.5 model on its side as a center channel?
  3. I just purchased a used pair of KG 4.5's for my main speakers. Now, looking for a pair of rear surrounds. I need something small and light for my wall mount (pref under 10 lbs). I'm assuming the KG .5 would be a great timbre matched option since it was in the same line (however, the tweeters look like typical soft domes). I found a great deal on a pair of newer R-14M's (plus they are around 8 lbs). Anybody know if these would be a close timbre match for the 4.5's? On the KG .5's I see a screw in the middle, is that for mounting? Thanks.
