  1. I'm considering buying the Pioneer Elite Vsx-45tx and am real curious as to how it will sound with klipsch's (I have klf-30's). If you could revist this post and let me know what you think after you've listen that be cool
  2. Thanks for the posts. I have to look into Denon also. I really what to stay away from Yamaha though. With the dual horn's I feel the Yamaha (and possibly Denon) would be too brite for my tast. I'm looking for a rich sound without sounding muddy. I don't have a sub yet and I need something with a high current that will drive the klf-30's I was really hoping someone out there with one of these receivers would comment also. Anyone?
  3. I'm trying to deside on which receiver I should go with between the Marantz 7300, Pioneer Elite VSX-45, or the Rotel RSX-1055. any suggestions? 75% Music//25% Movie
  4. Thanks for all the good information. I went to the omnimount website and they have what I'm looking for !! Thanks again
  5. Thanks for the response Yes there are also 2key holes per speaker, but because of my limited placement real estate the speakers need to be angled left or right from the wall. I guess if I knew the angle I could use a block of wood with an angled face with the mounting screws on the angled face and bolt that block to a stud. It may just work
  6. I recently purchased a pair of KSP-S6 surrounds and Im trying to figure out the best way to mount these monsters (about 20lbs each). There are four holes in the back of the speaker but I cant find any info on what type of bracket would fit. I may just end up making some shelves. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also I have a very open listening area (vaulted ceiling, room open to kitchen, dinette, and dinning room). The only place I can find to mount these on a wall would be to the sides and behind my listening area (up 6ft), or about two feet directly behind the couch and up 8ft (from the bottom of the speakers). Is one better than the other? Should I go behind and angle severely downward? Thanks for any ideas
