  1. Yes, it's under warranty. It was bought in the USA. We don't have Klipsch service here. I just need to know what could possibly be fried so I could get the part and let someone solder it.
  2. Fried the control pad the other day. Had a new desk coming in and in a rush, I plugged in my left speaker into the headphone socket instead of my headphones. Not knowing what I did, I left the system for few hours and when I came back I switched it from headphones-to-speaker mode. A nice set of aromas came out of the pad. The speakers wouldn't post. Amp is working fine. How could I not distinguish between a speaker wire and a headphone one? I don't know. I was dark and both were lying next to each other. Can a Klipsch technician / staff member spot a blown transistor / capacitor (or whatever else there is) ? Where can I get more information about the 4.1 PCB itself? A diagram would be helpful.
  3. I live in NYC. That's a good price. I just couldnt find the dealer through the 'dealer locator' Thanks.
  4. There are no authorized Klipsch dealers for ProMedia 4.1's. How am I supposed to obtain full warranty? None of the stores in my area have 4.1's.
  5. Great. Thank you Will get an extension then
  6. How can I find out (by the part number) when were the speakers actually manufactured? Are there any revisions I should stay away from? This is the part # of the one I'd like to get: ACSPKHPM4.1
  7. Hello, I'm almost ready to buy the Promedia 4.1 sound system. I just have a quick question. I have a Labtec Axis-302 headset (headphones + microphone, one wire splits into two jacks) and would like to know if it's *possible* to plug in the microphone into the Auxiliary socket on the side of the speaker and still be able to use it. Whether it will work or not, it will not change my decision to get the speakers of course -rooty
