  1. I used to be very happy with my RSW-12,but yesterday I bought a dvd with name Flight of the Phonenix, which has a dts soundtrack. In fact, the low Frequency of this disc goes so down that when the plane was about to crash, the rubbber surronding of the cone shakes suprisingly and strange sound like"whump" occurs.( my av receiver is a sony 929,and I set the LFE gain to +7db,the volume of the sub is at 11 o'clock&the receiver's volume is only 10 o'clock!,of course, I use LFE output to the sub).I feel rather upset as this sub is on the top line of all Klipsch subs.As a top sub, this shouldn't have happened!!!Anyone came across this? Is my setup correct? Should I decrease the LFE gain and inrease the volume knobof the sub?please help!!!
  2. another question:my av receiver has two subs pre out, should i connect them both with the two line in terminals of the sub?( if so, should i switch on or off the crossover on the sub?) will this method destroy the sub?or will it affect or improve sound effects? badly need your help!
  3. recently bought a rsw12,but rather puzzled! some suggeest that i should connect the line between sub out from the av receiver and the LFE in of the sub, with crossover switched off.others suggest i should connect the line between sub out from the av receiver and line in of the sub, with crossover switched on,(i have no external cross over)....how do you hook it up?please help!
  4. about to buy a new sub. Have a deep impression on rsw12,but never get the chance to have a listen to the new rw12,which is much cheaper. what are the differences? Is rw12 as powerful as rsw12? Could anyone who 's heard the both give me detailed description? THANKS A LOT!

Thank you a lot for all your information. To tell you the truth, I do know ksw12 is not the sub for an audiophile, while the rsw series are.Velodyne is just a dream in my life( The price is too much for me,and I haven't seen any of them in my country, only on books).Right now I have 2 sets of stereos, one for music(amp is onkyo, loudspeakers are Rogers from the UK), the other is for home theater. The av amp is a sony and main speakers are Dali 104 from Denmark.(double 6.5" bass).I once considered DAli's sub swa12(www.dali.dk). But its a sealed sub. which I am afraid it is more suitable for music instead of home theater. To me, the ideal sub should be durable and the price can't be too high(at most 500 us dollars), and it should be "fast" enough. Is the ksw 12 the one I am lookink for? By the way, is it made in USA? Why can't I see the logo MADE IN USA? or is it assembled in Mexico? Still waiting for your anwsers. Thanks a lot.

I'm considering buying a sub .I personally think the ksw12 will fit me well. but as you know .some of the users keep complaining about the fuse. I am an audiophile from china. If it burned, where would I buy the fuse?Absolutely nowhere.By the way, is klipsch popular in USA? and is the ksw12 a good sub?
