I am using a inexpensive (cheap) Sony 200 CD changer. It occurs on any CD that I play loud enough, studio release or burned copies.

I am experiening a clicking/popping from the mids (k-53-k drivers) on my forte's. I am powering them with a vintage Marantz 2270 reciever (very conservative 70wpc) and the problem occurs only at fairly high volume. Both speakers click/pop in tempo with the music (usually snare drum) but one speaker starts to click/pop slightly before the other. Wondering if problem is with the speakers or the amp??
