  1. My humble 2.1 set-up (it's on it's way as we speak): Apple Dual Processor 1.42 Ghz Powermac, 2 Gigs, RAM; 120Gigs HD memory; Radeon 9700 Pro video card; M-audio Revolution 7.1 sound card; M-audio Co2 digital-to-optical converter; Klipsch DD-5.1 decoder/pre-amp; a set of Mackie HR624 self-powered (140W) studio monitors; Hsu VTF-3 subwoofer (250W self-powered). oh, and a 20" LCD Apple Cinema Display.
  2. I'm buying a Klipsch DD-5.1 decoder/pre-amp for my PC HT; the subwoofer will be a Hsu VTF-3 (250W), main speakers will be Mackie HR624 (self-powered 140W per speaker); the sound card will be an M-audio Revolution 7.1 ... I plan on connecting a line from the coaxial digital "out" on the sound card to an M-audio digital-to-optical converter, running a Toslink line to the Klipsch, then plugging in the speakers to the Klipsch decoder/pre-amp. My question is, I see that the bass management routes everything under 120Hz to the sub; Hsu advises to route everything under 80Hz to their sub for best results; is the Klipsch's cross-over adjustable or is it only 120Hz?
