Yes the hum stops when I disconnect it from the receiver. But I really don't know how to check for "ground loop"! Please show me how. Thanks. tien

Hello All, Whenever I turn off the power of the receiver (Onkyo TX-DS787) my KSW-12 sub starts to hum. If I leave the receiver's power on standby, the humming stops immediately! I have tried to connect both power cords to the same outlet and to different outlets but the humming is still there unless the receiver is on standby mode. Anyone has any ideas? Thank you tien
