Hi jt1stcav I have a pair of Tangent 400 (97dB/mt ) with a kenwood 100w/ch amps. I like blues , jazz and soft rock , my room is 3 x 8 mt. I listen to a medium level, not too loud and i want to build my dyi SET amps beacause is too simple than a PP. I like sweet and liquid music , not aggressive into the mid/ high frequency. Hi everybody I write from Italy It's true that Paul Klipsch have used a pp 2a3 class A no feedback amplifier to set his speakers? It's better to use similar amps or a 300b se?

I know a dealer that's the biggest in Italy called "hi-fi Di Prinzio" in Chieti (PE) that sale the heavy weight of hi-end like Mark Lenvinson, Jeff Rowland, Accuphase, Mbl, Klimo, the biggest Tannoy Westminster, JM Lab, Zingali, Symphonic Line, Audio Note, hand made horn speakers etc.

I am a Tangent 400 owner with a Pioneer PD93 CD player (!!!!!) and a Kenwood KA 7020 amplifier (sigh!). I want to replace the ampli with another solid state or valve components. My room is 3 x 8 mt. and i like rock , blues and jazz . The director of the italian site tnt-audio.com suggested to me the AM-Audio PA30, the Densen Beat 100, the Audio Analogue Puccini SE and the Naim Nait 3. What do you think about?
