Do the Klipsch subs suck that bad? Is the low end BASS lacking as bad as everyone says? I can't understand why they are so bad at the depth They advertise that the low end is covered well..............

Thanks for the info. I'm going to go buy them on Friday! All Klipsch: Frt.- RF-35's Cnt.- RC-35 Sur.- RCR-5's Sub.- RW-12 I have never had an Elite Pioneer.....but they looks cool! Can you still buy the VSX-43 TX at any retail stores? I have seen them on e-bay. I have considered doing the same set-up with the RF-7's for the fronts with no Sub. Any thoughts? I worry about the Rec. having to work overtime to produce the needed BASS for the good DVD's. My room is approx. 18 x 19 with a 9ft. flat ceiling. Also, currently have a RCA-52" TV.......I want to do the HDTV switch soon Bottom line..................I'm just ready to buy some Klipsch speakers!!

Where did you get the Pioneer in that price range???

I think so.......I got a Deal on it from Rat. Shack!! It listed for $399 and I got it on sale for $189.00 so it must have been last years model....not sure? Come to think of it I have never seen another one like this. I plan to use it until more $$ flows my way for a new one. I have used Onkyo in the past and they are great!! Funds were low and I wanted to go with True DTS Dig. Surround, so this is the one I got, thinking it was just to get by until.....then I loved it so much a year later it's still rockin!!! I think Pioneer make them for RCA.....anybody know?? How do you guy;s think it will drive the Klipsch RB35's, RC35, RS35's????

Okay......................I thought I was the only "Cheapskate" using a RCA (Pro-Series) rec. I have a STAV-3990 with 5x 100W DTS reciever. I think it sounds great for the money $$$. It has tons of features!!!! More than I currently use, but I hope to change that. Oh well, at least my ears like it! See Ya, Joe

Frt. - RB-75's Cnt. - RC35 Sur. - RS-35's Sub. - SVS -? (Which one) Also, what should I expect to pay new for a system like this? Any thoughts??

Thanks for the Advice David......I thought I was going to fall out of my chair last night when I discovered what WAF meant!! That is my house to the letter!! Oh Well, like they say..."It's sometimes better to ask for forgivness rather than permission" I hope the Klipsch system overides the WAF at my new home

David, If I am going to use a sub. (RW-10 or 12) will the RB-75's sound as good as the RF-35's for the front spk. in my HT set-up?? I am Undecided about the rears so far??? Center will most likely be the RC-35. Thanks, Joe

WOW I love the website!! The SVS Subs look great, I just have never heard of them? I;ll try to call these guy's and let them advise me. I am leaning toward the RSW-10 due to the fact that it would be a matching set to the RF-35 Complete Home Th. package! Just doing some homework on the Sub.

Newbie here.......................My Name is Joe and I am about to purchase a new sub for my HT System and needed some expert advice. I have listened to the M&K MX-105 with 2 12" subs in it and it was great, however, I wanted to get some advice on the new RSW 10 & 12's. Which has the advantage and why??? BTW, my current ratio is 80/20% (Movies 80% & Music 20%) It might change more as my 5yr. old gets older Any help would be great!! Thanks, Joe
