  1. Hey guys I have a big question for anyone who thinks that they can help. I just purchased the klipsch promedia 5.1's. They are awesome! The problem is that I use them in my college room for party speakers (which they do awesomely) but I still needed more base. So I went to best buy and purchased a mini (the sound card port) splitter for the subwoofer port. I used a mini to rca converting wire to run to the JBL home theater sub that I bought. I know it sounds ghetto but in this case the only thing that the rca's do is tell the amp to turn on. The JBL itself is run through hi-level inputs. Ok, this is working sweet. THe problem is that when the system plays, the Klipsch sub is far louder even with the JBL gain on max. HOW CAN I TURN THE KLIPSCH SUB "DOWN" WITHOUT TURNING THE BIG SUB DOWN? Any help would be awesome guys, Thank You Jake
