  1. Sold my Forte II's as is to a fellow enthusiast. Thanks to you guys for the help. Mark
  2. Looks like Moit has 'em all sewn up. Mark
  3. Losing the battle for livingroom space. Hate to part with my 1993 Forte II's but it is time. I have owned them since new. They have been near windows with the passive side most exposed to the sun for the past five years. Oiled Oak cabinets are in very good shape. Both speakers have (1) small tear in the face of the passive radiator. One tear is isolated in the middle of the speaker face. The other tear is at the edge and runs slightly into the waffling. See Photos. One speaker has a pet stain on the grill that I was nearly able to remove but it can still be seen if scrutinized. See Photo. These speakers sound great! I need to repair or replace the passive radiators but have not had time and now I have decided to let them go as is. Current photos posted here: http://www.flynmedic.com/Labpage/ForteII.htm I have (and will ship in) the original plastic wrap, foam inserts, original boxes, and manuals. Will ship UPS ground at buyers expense. Check ups.com from zipcode 78232 for a 75# box sized 39"x17"x21". I tried from San Antonio to Boston and it ran $59 each. I'll take the first $200 plus shipping for my Fortes. Hope they can go to a good home where they will be loved and cared for. Mark Fisher San Antonio, Texas mfisher@satx.rr.com (210)-884-3421
  4. I had a domestic accident today and tore through the 15" passive radiator on the back of one of my precious Forte II's. Anyone have a recommendation about a source for a used (a.k.a. moderately priced) replacement or is there some hope of having it re-coned? Thanks in advance..... Mark San Antonio
