.....at +12 i think thats as loud as it goes. trust me, somthing is wrong, or my wife would have tossed me out by now. and we saw the entire thing. in what way could i hook it up so as to alow it to play at max loudness,not distort,not get kicked out,not P-off the wife,and just get a lil warm to the touch(the receiver)?????????????????? i know i look dumb guys, but help me if ya can huh? yer all i got. roy roystr@hotmail.com

thanx, but my tv is old and dont have only one out in the back and its for cable tv. so im stuck as to how im suposed to hook it all up. although it all works fine now. dvd,vcr, and the tv play well as they ought to as far as i can tell. im so stuck.

i was assuming because my tv set has 1 cable out jack, i was missing some other kind of hook up to make the osd work. if the tv having 1 jack makes no difference, then im lost as to why i get no osd. everything works fine. vcr,dvd, tuner,,,,,, hmmmm,any ideas? thanx roy roystr@hotmail.com msn messenger ^ thanx alot. i have the pioneer VSX-55TXi , i just got it the other day. but i have an old tv set,one with only one cable jack in the back,so i dont get the on screen display to set up my suround sound. any ideas on how to solve this,other than a new tv set?? i saw you had a pioneer as well, and thought you might be able to help me. thanx alot , roy
