According to Klipsch isn't the DD-5.1 suppose to auto detect a digital signal? I have the DD-5.1 hooked up to my computer's sound card; Audigy 2 Platinum and have also entered the sound card device manager to activate S/PDIF bypass and digital out. In addition, when applicable, I enter the dvd's audio section to activate Dolby digital 5.1. However, I continue to see the same readout on the DD-5.1's LCD: PCM COAXIAL, STEREO. The manual states that when the unit detects a digital signal it displays on LCD the following: Dolby Digital. Anybody out there knows whatsup?.

I recently purchased the ProMedia ultra 5.1 speakers. I also purchased the Promedia DD5.1 decoder. I am trying to hook up this to my Audigy 2 Platinum Soundcard. Do I use a optical or digital cable.
