After spending a good number of evenings at our local Tweeter store flipping back and forth between the RC-3 II and the RC-35 I personally choose the RC-3 II. It to me gave a much cleaner sound whereas the RC-35 provided a much more 'Live' sound which I simply dont like. If you can find both at your dealer flip between them a number of times as there really is a BIG difference. Also, I dont know if others have found this but I found that the older 2001 Reference serial speakers sounded better then the newer 2003 series and they are getting hard to find. I *JUST* got my RS-3 series II surrounds today and they are almost impossible to find now.
