I just recieved the SC-1 center as a gift and now need to upgrade my 15 y/o Bose 301 fronts (needless to say they don't match...at all). Do I need to get the Sb-2's (to match) or will a Reference match close enough??? My crappy old Bose will probably replace crappy old JBL rears. Thanks!

Just bought the RW8 which seems to work great in my tiny NYC apartment. I have it 1:1 connected to my Onkyo into the LFE port on the back. Some here have written that I should use the "Y" connection into the left and right audio ports. Which is best??? ps...why does the base drop out so much when using Pro Logic II?
