  1. Does anyone know of a place that repairs these pre amps? Or, is there anyone out there familiar these that can give me some hints? Thanks!
  2. Does anyone have a rough idea of what I should pay for the following: All are 10 years old, oak finish. 1. Belles 2. Cornwalls 3. Heresy THanks for any info
  3. Is it harmful to power up a Mac Tube preamp if it is not hooked up to anything? THanks for any info.
  4. I have some cornwalls on Ebay for sale if anyone is interested. Item number: 3083449614
  5. Sorry, another question. Can you test a speaker by checking it's resistance. Is this a reliable way to see if a speaker is operational?
  6. I have some cornwalls and the woofer on one is popping when i turn the volume up just a little. Is this a speaker problem or crossover? Also, is it common for cornwall tweeters to have a light hiss when using lower quality amps? Thnaks ahead for any info.
  7. Do La Scala cabs usually have a panel covering the bottom of the cab, or is it open? Thanks for the help!!
  8. I am taking offers. I have to test all of the parts, before I will sell them. I will do this on this coming Saturday. Anyways, if you make an offer and I accept it, it will be conditional on if they test and work. Shipping for parts will be out of Hood River. If you want the pair of complete speakers, they can be picked up in Portland. I will send pics if you e mail me at alvablue@gorge.net. If parte out, there will be: 2 tweeters, 2 mids, 2 woofers and 2 cabinents. Parts can be shipped except for the cabinents. Remember that these are the pro models and don't have crossovers.
  9. I am getting ready to part out some 1978 professional series La Scalas. Is anyone intersed in the parts or the whole set before I put it all on EBAY? The cabinents look like crap. They have the three inputs on the back for each speaker. I'm in Portland, OR.
  10. Can anyone descifer these La Scala numbers: TLSB LSW/S Serial # 25U806 and 25U807 Thanks!
  11. Does anyone know the year of mfg the sn: 27W887 on La Scalas translates to? Thanks!
