And T2k, who are you talking about when you say adding flames to the thread? Correct me if I am wrong, but do you have any personal knowledge of this? You keep interjecting your two cents, yet saying others should not? PLEASE. This is what is commonly known as talking out of both sides of your mouth. It is pretty ridiculous I think, but then again, those of us who have read your posts in the past are not surprised at all. This seems to be a pattern for you.

You need more power. That is all. The miniscule powered SET amps don't drive Klipsch speakers well. I thought that was pretty much a given around here?

Well Ryan, that is simple. I am sending that 296 up to NOSValves to have it rebuilt because you never responed to my posts, PM's or email inquiring about a rebuild. NOSValves answered every question I had.
If you happen to have another 296 for sale, I would consider purchasing it?

Do all the tubes need to be replaced in the future? What do you mean by, the future? I have been under the impression that a tube which tests at 80% is pretty much considered like new? I always thought that tubes need to be considered for replacement at aaround 50% of their maximum test value? Would someone with knowledge in this area please comment here?

Why is that? I pick up hitchikers all the time. I really hope others would do the same for me if my car were to break down late at night on some of the dark rural country roads we have here.

I would be afraid to have someone from the Internet come to my home. It does not seem like a wise idea to me. There are a lot of sexual predators on the net according to what I see in the news.
