Thanks all for the information and thanks so much for the welcome. Viz a viz Khorns, are older models more collectable? My preference (coming out of the triode scene is for Alnico magnets) but opinions are divided on this I know. I feel lucky to find the Alnico ones I did. Has anyone been crazy enough to build a tweaked out Khorn with more costly woofers and drivers and thicker cabinet wall thickness. Specifically, I am thinking of the Vitavox 191 as an example to follow . It is a Khorn, simply a more delux/high performance version...

Hi y'all, Sorry to ask a question that may have been asked over and over. What is the nominal impedance on older ('64) Khorns? I want to figure out what tap is better on my output transformers. 8 or 16ohms? Second, is there a schematic, or at least L and C values, for the TYPE A crossover out there(I think that is what they have)? Would you rebuild them, they seem to be workin' fine. Though this is my first post, may I suggest that a FAQ would be a really great thing and would stop less interesting posts like this one? It would be great if it include the years for the XO types (for Khorns and other speakers), as well as their schematics and model numbers on drivers, etc Thanks a lot.
