  1. I tested the sub directly to the Multichannel analog breakout on the DVD player and it plays fine. Thinking the issue is with the AMP. I also checked the areas suggested above with no luck. Though Onkyo suggested to use the test signal to see if the Amp can send any signal to the Sub. Also recommended resetting amp which you hold the VIDEO1 button down and turn on/off the unit until it says resetting (clear/shutdown).
  2. I have this amp and have been happy with it, though I would say Onkyo tech support is limited and their software has trouble handling large number of MP3's but it a nice integrated solution. Currently having trouble with a sub setup on that see posting on this site but still investigating.
  3. Well I read a number of suggestion in trying to get this working but to no avail have I had the Sub turn on. I set all speakers to small the crossover to 80 and turned up the crossover on the sub all the way. I have checked both my DVD (COAX) and my SAT (Optical)and neither one is working. I tried multiple cable configs with the LFE. There is one LFE Pre-out on the Onkyo and have connected it direct and with the Y connector with no difference. I have checked the speaker at the dealer and it does work, as well as the cable. Receiver: Onkyo NR-900 Sub: RW-8 Main: RS-25 series DVD: Sony SVP-S560D SAT: Ultimate TV
