Will it harm the 4.1's to turn them completely off (and on) by using a surge supressor/power strip? I'm not comfortable leaving them on when I'm not home.

Promedia 4.1 Can I hook up only the front channels? I bought this system anticipating moving to a larger home where I will have the room for a surround sound system. Right now I don't have the space for the rears. TIA.
