  1. What an experience... Sorry for wasting everyone's time. I had changed my connections to the speaker to banana plugs and in doing so, I had the positive and negative polarity crossed on the signal connections. The sub wouldn't fire with this crossed. Interesting, none the less, but pure operator error. Thanks to tech support for their work on this. David Thompson
  2. Not sure if this is the place to post or not... I have talked with a few various groups within Klipsch in the last weeks and I must say that their tech support and parts department is about the best group of people I've dealt with. Anyone wondering if Klipsch is worth the extra dollars should note that, in addition to the superior products, the support is phenominal. David Thompson
  3. I have a new amp and a new speaker for my sub on a KSP-400 and it still has no sound. I've tried changing the red wires that must be connected with no results either. I do get the red light on the speaker back and I can see the speaker is getting power (and hear a light hum), but no music. New AMP, the cones are getting signal. Just no SUB. Any ideas out there? I'm dying for a little bass. Thanks, David Thompson david_thompson@mentor.com
