So I was listening to some music on my computer like I do everyday. This was on Wednesday morning I think. And when I was listening to a song, I was hearing a static sound in my field of hearing. So I stick my head in front of my speakers on by one. I found out that it was my front right speaker making the static noise. It also breaks on the highs. I have the v.2-400 setup which i bought at the beginning of June from the Klipsch store online. I checked to make sure that all my cables were in correctly, on the sub, computer, and speaker. I reseated the clips on the sub. I also reformatted my computer and then used my onboard sound (K8V Deluxe) and it still gave me the static problem. I then went back to my Sound Blaster Live 5.1 with no decrease in the static. Not all songs have the static hearable from my chair, but all songs do have the static if my head is directly in front of the speaker. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
