  1. \How much do you want to sell your KSP400? Thanks,
  2. I am currently using a KV4 for center and a friend of mine wants to trade his brand new RC7 for my KV4 plus $200.00 more. Honestly, I like the KV4 and its 2 inches Tweeter but this one does not offer bi-ampping capability. Anyone KV4 owners here? How do you like your KV4? Thanks, Tony
  3. Well, I've been enjoying my KSP400 since the day I bought them. I don't know how the other KSP400 owners think, but the KSP400 works excellent in bi-amping mode. In fact, we have three pairs in our families. Keep looking on Ebay and you could get them for less than $1000/pairs. Tony
  4. Hi Bill, I found one on eBay for over $50.00. Right now, my HDTV looks excellent and I don't know if I need to use that amplifier or not. Thanks, Tony
  5. Henry, you were right about the problem. I unplugged the HDTV amplifier the hum was gone. Henry, could you advice me how to solve this ground loop problem? Anyone here has the same probem? Thanks, Tony
  6. Thanks I'll try that after get home from work. By the way, I just recently connected a new HDTV amplifier on the same Monster Power bar. Tony
  7. Hello everyone, Two days ago, after watching a DVD movie I noticed that both of my KSP400s were making a very loud hum that I've never experienced before. I turned off the Subs and turned them back to the automatic mode but as soon as I try to play some music, the hum came back again. Could someone tell me what's wrong with my KSP please? I hope that nothing is hapenning with the internal amps with my KSP400. Thank you, Tony
  8. Hello everyone Would it be better in sound if using an external amplifier to drive the subwoofers? Has anyone here tried to run the KSP400 this way? I have an extra Harman Kardon Citation 7.1 with 450watts per channel x 2 and I am thinking to use it for experiment. Does anyone here know the technical specs of the built-in amps in KSP400? Thanks, Tony
  9. Hello Everyone, I took out the main control panel and brought it to an electronic repair shop this morning. The guy at the shop looked at the board and told me that couple capacitors have blown. He then recommended ordering a new control panel instead to repair it because the sound quality would be degraded after repairing. Sadly, I came home and called the Tech support at Klipsch and they suggested me to send in both the control panel and the amp so that they can take a look at them. I then also called the part dept. to find out how much is for a new control panel and was told it is selling for $140.19. Finally, I decided to order a new control panel and hope this will bring back my KSP 400 as normal. I will keep everyone posted as the part comes in. Thank you everyone Tony
  10. Hi DeanG, I use tri-wire to hook-up to my KSP 400 as seen on Figure B. This evening, I tried to connect my KSP 400 again and the speaker was working fine. I could hear the sound from the two mid-bass woofers, tractix horn, and the sub-woofer. However, I could not hear anything when I tried to connect with a single wire to either "Mid In" or "Hi In" from the "Speaker Level input". Before the accident, I was able to hear music with this connection but now I'm not. Thanks everyone
  11. I called a friend of mine (also KSP 400 owner) and he told me that I need to call Klipsch to order a new crossover. The next day, I called Klipsch and was told that they ran out of crossover for KSP 400. Thanks, Tony
  12. I am not so sure if it was the fuse but I saw smoke came out on from the contol panel. How do I know if it was the fuse? I've babied these speakers for years... and honestly, I don't want anything happen to them I am going to part the sub tonight and try if it still works. I'll will keep everyone posted. Thanks everyone, Tony
  13. Hi, Does anyone in here know any Klipsch authorized repair shop in Boston area? I tried to bi-amping my power-amp but forgot to turn-off my KSP400...and just within a second...the crossover got fired. I called Klipsch but they ran out of part. Now I am trying to get it repaired but don't know how and where. Could someone give me some an advice? Thanks, Tony
