hmmm. that is a great point. Thanks. What do you know about the sub being close to projection TVs? I read in another post to keep them far away, but my sweet spot is right beside mine. I don't see any problems visually, could this hurt my TV?

I have had mine for about a month now and I love it. It provides great clean bass. This sub goes extremely low. I hav the RABOS test kit and it has no problem hitting 20hz. However, it does hurt my ears though. The pressure it creates at 20hz is almost unbearable. I don't even have the sub in the sweet spot(since it seems to be exactly where 2 doors are, but it feels the whole house with wall rattling bass. I don't think you will be dissapointed. It is also a very nice looking sub.

Which is the best way to hook the sub up to my receiver? I mainly watch movies. I understand that the LFE uses the receiver to crossover and the line in uses subs internal crossover, but I unsure if when the sub is hooked up using the line in, does it still get is sound from the .1 descrete track on Dolby digital and DTS? I seem to get louder bass when I use the line in, but I am afraid that I am missing something if I use this connection. When using the line in, does the sub just get bass from the 2 front speakers? Anyone know how this works?

No, I haven't made it up yet...I have the order filled out on the SVS website as we speak...but I am waiting to send it. I want the best sub for $600, but I am just not sure which one that is. Have you heard them both???

I am looking at these two subs. I am leaning towards the RW-12 because I can by it at a B&M store...makes me feel better that I can here it. Has anyone heard both of these? Which one makes lower, cleaner, louder bass?? I only watch movies with the sub, rarely ever listen to music on it. Someone please help because I am leaving in 1 hour to get my RW-12!!!!!!
