  1. My mistake. The Best Buy in Palmdale had price tags for the KSW-10 and the KSW-12 sitting on the Sub-10 and the Sub-12 respectively. Both $150.00 instant savings. I didn't realize the error until I went to check out and the price was $499.99. Without much of a fuss they gave me $75.00 off. Still working with the positioning of the sub to find a good sound. Movies sound great right now but music is not quite there yet. Im starting to wonder if I did the right thing considering my setup. The F-3s already get great low frequency response.
  2. Best Buy has a $100.00 instant savings on the Sub-12 and a $150.00 instant savings on the Sub-10 right now.....should I get one Sub-12 or two Sub-10s. Current system.....F-3s front...F-2-s rear....C-3 center Thanks

  4. Newbie question... My receiver (Pioneer VSX-1014TX-K) allows you to set a crossover point between the speakers and the subwoofer. I'm seriously considering adding the new sub-12 to my system.....(F-3s front, F-2's rear, C-3 center). At what frequncy should I set the crossover in the reciever...and the sub??? Thanks.

I won't be using surroud back speakers...just 5.1. This amp has the ability to use the amp provided for the surround backs to use in conjunction with the front amp to bi-amp your front speakers.....with an adjustable crossover network in the receiver!!!! This is insane for the price of this receiver.....plus it uses the same ADE MOSFET used on Pioneer's Elite line...plus it has component video up-conversion..plus...plus....plus.... I'm still learning about this bad boy but so far I'm extremely impressed...espessially for $407 from Best Buy.....(about $375 average on ebay) Enjoy.. Dan
  6. When you get them home................................................. You will be amazed....................

Best Buy was having a 20% off sale on all speakers so I decided to jump on the deal. I couldn't find them anywhere though. Half the BB stores would never pick up the phones and the other half didn't know if the inventory numbers on the computers were for on display or new in box items. Anyway... 3rd time is always the charm and I finally found a BB with a pair. $425 each reg price so the deal notched it down to $340. Not bad at all I figured. As the employee was ringing them up I saw that it showed up at 272 each. Was there another discount I didn't see? I wasn't going to mention it so I just jetted outta there. If you calculate it out 272 is 20% off the reg price... twice so thats 36% off. Mistake? I dunno I duncare. Maybe I'm smoking something but 272 each is one heck of a deal IMO. Attached a scan of the receipt. I love Klipsch! So far they are sounding great but need more break in period and now I need a sub. Family wanted to take my soon to be SVS PB10 away from me. HAHA NEVER! Yay sub shopping... ---------------- Funny thing.......I read your post a few days ago...i just now checked my receipt.....I got the same price.......KILLER!!!

For your surrounds, I'd suggest another pair of F-3's. ---------------- F-3's won't fit in rear...... Will there be voice matching issues if I use F-2's or F-1s?
  9. Don't have my desired receiver yet..(Yamaha HTR-5790)...just using my old Pioneer......Sounds great though.
  10. Conviced my wife and bought Synergy F-3s from Best Buy. The sound absolutly great at low and high volumes. This is the begining of my home theater system. I'm wondering if using F-2's or F-1's as floor standing side surrounds is ideal, or should I stick with the "S" series? Happy new Klipsch owner!!!....thanks in advance for the input.
