what i'll do is next time it starts freaking out. i'll unplug it from the computer. and see if it still makes the noise.

but nothing changes.. like i'm not touching anything. i would understand if i brushed the connection or something of the like.. still think its the plug?

had these things for a couple years now. and for now reason at all right now if i'm listening to something or even not listening to anything.. they will start humming faintly for a few seconds. and then the speakers will make a huge constant feedback noise. the remedy i have right now is to unplug them and replug and it goes away. the noise is so loud it wakes me up in the middle of the night on the other side of the house if i forget to unplug the speakers.. wtf is wrong with these things??
