Is this problem only with the Rsw-12? I ordered a 12" about 3wks ago, they called me back a week later and said that they were having issues with it. Now they are giving me a rsw15 instead of the rsw12 since I had already ordered the 12 before they were aware of any issues. Does anyone know 1) what is the issue with the rsw12 and 2) anyone heard that the rsw15 has same problem??? I'd be pretty pissed to get a unit and have it in the shop after only using it 3mths Thanks chris

Thanks for the advice, I was quickly finding out that any amps that I was considering was a little out of my price range. I think I will stay with my current one for a few more mths and then look into rotel or marantz.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to mount my RS-35's. To get them on the sides of the seating position it has to go over my front door so I was thinking of ceiling brackets, although I'm not sure if Bestbuy brackets would be the way to go. I don't want to have them up on the brackets and have the bracket break. I've only found brackets to hold 8lbs, the speaker is 10lbs. Is there a bracket to hold them and position them downward toward the seating area or am I going to need to build some sort of shelf for them? Any advice/help would be appreciated

I think that I'm going to look into getting an amp as opposed to upgrading the whole system. I was kinda looking at marantz 5500 for a reciever, but if the concensus is that I should go to seperates then i'll start looking into them. Unfortunately I know even less about amps and I'd much rather go to a store as opposed to online places (so i have a face that i can talk to if i have any problems). Any suggestions 4 amps other than outlaw (don't like that its' an online store have had probs with computer stuff before). I started looking at aragon, but price on aragon is outta my $ range.

I was wondering about suggestions for a good reciever for RF-35's, RC-35, (soon to have rsw 12 and rs-35's). I am currently using a pioneer vsx-d811s. I'm not sure if this reciever has enough to push the speakers. I don't want to starve them of power. Does anyone have any suggestions as to recievers I should look into or if my current one will be good enough for these speakers. Typically it's about 50/50 for music/ht. Room is about 15-20 opened about 16' of one of the 20' walls. Eventually going to a bigger room in a bigger house, but aren't we all??
