  1. I would use the front firing RW series sub. They do not have the rear passive. In reading the specs on the Velodyne, they refer to many of their models as video shielded. I may have to ask Klipsch if the RW series is video shielded.
  2. Can I place the sub directly below the TV in the entertainment center. Are the new DLP or JVC chip TV's any less prone to problems with the magnetic field. I am working with a high end audio installation company during new home construction and they dont see any problem with put a front firing sub in the entertanement center below the TV. The cabinet is open on the very bottom. They prefer I use Velodyne but I said I will probably use a front firing Klipsch. Do I need to be concerned about putting a sub below the set.
  3. Are the new DLP or JVC HILA televisions still sensitive to have speakers to close. Is having the sub built in under the tv a problem. Seems like I am seeing the sub closer and closer all of the time
  4. We are building a new home and the contractor and audio system installer plan on putting the sub woofer on floor level in the built in entertainment center with a port at the bottom. The audio installer uses Velodyne but I said I prefer to stay with Klipsh. He said just make sure you use the front firing models. He said these may not be as good as some of the Velodyne's in this application, but will work. Anyone have experieince with Subs built in and if the RW 12 is a good unit for this. I am using RB 35 and RC 35 for speakers.
