great minds think of simple solutions so far this seems to be working thanks dougdrake. i've never switched off my amp in the past, i see you also have an acurus do you switch yours off, just wondering about wear&tear on switch.thank you FOR your help!!!!

hello again i'm suprised that no one has encountered this type of problem before which leads me to belief that i must be on my own!! no clue /suggestion, i know that i can return unit just trying to solve situation if possible .thanks buda

hello klipsters been hanging around here for awhile and have enjoyed i'mthe ride from way off,i'm not the sharpest tool in the shed please bare with me. recently purchase a outlaw 950 pre/pro to replace adcom gtp 600 pre/pro. above units is hooked up to cornwall(1) sc1 ss1 ksw12. acurus 125power amp, with adcom ,and volume of sub at max there was no popping when pre was turned off. after replacing adcom with outlaw picked up a buzzing which i was able to eliminate by adding a ground to case of 950. my problem is that whenever i turn off 950 there is a very loud thud whether volume is turned up or not ,i've followed manuel hook up and nothing is amiss,unit plays and i'm not displease with preformance if only i could get rid of this awful thud. buda
