  1. I added a RVX42 center speaker( borrowed from a friend) and turned it up. But RVX42 didn't perform very well next to my RVX54 speakers. It sounded very rough and unclear relatively. May be RVX42 is not a good center speaker to go with RVX54?
  2. Hi I have a pair of RVX54 and a pair of RSX-4 as surround speakers with a HK235 amp. Of all the DVD movies I have watched so far, the human voices volumn is so low that it's very hard to hear. However explosion and other types of sounds sound very loud. So I had to turn up the volumn everytime there is a conversation going on in the movie, very annoying. Does have a similar set or experience similar problems? Vinny
  3. no doubt that RVX42 are great speakers. It hold up ok next to the Rvx54, though I had to tune it up a little higher. RVX42 is the only central speaker that can match the sound, style and look of RVX54.
  4. All of my local stores are out of stock on RSX-4 (silver) speakers. Any one know where I can get it online for a reasonable price?
  5. RVX-42 sounds great but 54 is much better. The 42 doesn't sound as crisp and solid as the 54. 54 has higher clarity level and stronger bass.
  6. Do you have to use double sided tape to stick the RSX4 base to the stand? That won't look very nice....
  7. Can't find any speaker stand that works with RSX-4 satellite speakers! Any one know which one to get?
  8. Just bought a pair of RVX-54, RVX-42 and 2 RSX-4. The RVX-54 is so powerful and efficient. It has incredible high and low frequency output! The power of RVX54 makes the RVX-42 and the satellite speakers mute. The sound clarity is amazing. The difference between 54 and 42 is huge.
