Hello, I have a room with a corner to corner distance of 28 ft. I would like to use the Klipschorn but am not certain they would be able to fill the centre area of the soundstage if they are placed this distance apart. Does anyone have experience with these speakers placed this distance apart? The listening position would be on axis with the speakers and can be tweaked no problem. The room is 28 X 32+ with 10' side walls coming to an 18" peak in the centre. Any advise or personal experiences would be appreciated. The centre channel solution will not be an option for me since there is a woodstove in the centre of the wall. TIA, Gene

Thanks for the information guys, I thought after I made the post that perhaps I should have given a little more info on the room. I have all the room I need to adjust the listening position forward or backward. The room is actually 28 feet square with 10 foot side walls and an 18 foot vaulted ceiling. A centre speaker presents a problem however since there is a woodstove smack in the middle of the wall I want to place the speakers on. The soundstage properties are very important to me, I am after excellent instrument localization with "space" around the instruments over the width and depth of the stage. With the centre speaker not really an option, my concern is that the Khorns won't be quite able to fill the 28' space. I will be driving the Khorns with a modified KR BSI 18 using 845's and analog source. Gene

I am considering a pair of Klipschorns but my corners are 28 feet apart. I am concerned that there may be a "hole" in the centre of the soundstage because of the 28' spacing. Does anyone out there have any experience with a similar setup? Thanks in advance, Gene
