  1. 007, retard, i use the standard voltage, i live in the USA, and be careful, the same thing might happen to you
  2. after scanning over the posts in the forum, its obvious that klipsch has known about their promedia speakers smoking, burning, catching fire, etc and has no cares about this. i think its time to contact the attourney general of Indiana (where klipsch is located), maybe this will cause klipsch to rethink its "customer-at-fault" philosophy, before someone ends up dying, or having their home burnt down with them and their family inside, like i almost did. these problems were known about since 2001 PS, no rep has contacted me.
  3. it is 3:30AM, and about 1/2 hour ago, i noticed a strong electrical burning smell. i was very frantic in trying to locate the smell. smoke was pouring out the port of my subwoofer, as well, in the darkness a glow of flame inside the box its the 4.1 model. im highly upset at this, so i am writing at theis very early hour. im lucky i caught it in time. if not, who knows what would have happened. i was wondering can a customer support rep please contact me ASAP, the speakers are not under waranty any longer, i purchased them directly from Klipsch's site a few years back, however they still shouldnt be going on fire like this. would you please email me at motorxcycle@aol.com ASAP, and tell me what klipsch can do about this problem.
