WIll do. Sorry, I saw Tech Questions and thought it was a general tech forum. Not just for home audio.

Ok, so here's the problem. Last night, I was watching a movie with the headphones on so not to wake my roommate. Once the movie was over, I switched it back to speaker mode, but there was no sound coming from the speakers, just a high-pitched "squeal" coming from the sub. This had happened before, but somehow it fixed itself. This time I'm not so lucky. I've checked all the connections and they are fine. I turned off the sub for a several hours and when I turned it back on, it was still not working. I hope to all that is holy that somthing didn't go kaput because I really don't have the money for a new set. Oh, and btw, these are the NON-ultra ProMedia 5.1s. If this is in the wrong forum, I'll be more than happy to move it or at least crosspost it to the 5.1 forum.
