i, I'm a newbie who just bought a pair of Forte IIs off eBay that I'm hooking up to an old Marantz 2230 in my office at the university where I teach and wondered in I should now invest in a different amp. The only other component is a 6-CD magazine Pioneer player, so I'm not interested in anything beyond two channels. Perhaps what I have is fine, but I've been reading posts from those who recommend tube amps, integrated amps, etc. to get the most out of the Forte IIs. I'm also wondering about speaker wires, but refuse to invest much $$ in high end wires. Grateful for any input. Rick
