I am selling my rf-3's...I hate to do so as I was hoping to keep them for a third system, I know im crazy...but I need the money to go towards a new turntable...
They are not perfect, they are however the way they were when I bought them. One woofer has a small dent, hardly noticable. There are a few small scratches on top, again hardly noticable. Other than that these puppys are great. They sound perfect, and are sonically just that perfect. I would like to get $400 for them but am putting then up on the forum for $350...email for photo's...If there is no intrest these will be going on a-gon, just wanted to give yal a chance and with a better deal. Email audiophilefreak@gmail.com if intrested.
Thanks
James

well i heard the heresy's, and most recently (last friday) heard la scala's. Aperently one of my dad's friends was a dj in the 70's and used the speakers and has had them in his house ever since. Anyway, I listened to them, and they hurt my ears, just too shril on rock and roll. Now this may of been the x-overs, or even the amplification. But I do not regreat this purchase.

ill have to ask him, as I am out of town and cannot open up the speaker at this time.
-
jbsl does too

the caps are huge, expensive things, not need to play around with them

makes me wonder.......did he run out and get them to validate his story? Sorry but I put alot of stock in track record, but hey, maybe he's turning over a new leaf. My humblest apologies for ever doubting him.[:$]
No worries...it is understandable

I just like the sound better, they have a different sound than heritage. And its more to my liking, its just so right with classic rock. Differnt strokes for differnt folks. and it looks more cramed that it is because of the angle.

haha, this is funny. You want pics do you, well the difference between myself and neo is that ill acctully show you the pictures. I was going to wait till i got them of my side tables, and my custom stands we're done, but i'll put someup for all you babies....just give me a few mins while i clean up my room a bit and get some pictures

I liked them better than the abby's, the cheetahs are more dynamic, more bass output, and even though they only have a rear firing tweeters I feel the highs are better. Now the one thing the abby's we're better in, and this is only slightly was midrange, it was just right on that speaker. I have yet to get the t90a, but the cheetah already sound killer in my room. I am sure the t90a will take the speaker to the next level

some people are funny

cogents were amazing, even in the small room. The bass was deep and full, just amazing. The lansing iconic, well when I was in the room it was not hooked up so I cannot say.
