  1. Klipsch Belle Speakers In great condition! Serial Numbers are 90018xxx
and 90018xxx. Both are type BK-WO (Belle Klipsch, Walnut Oiled). Made in
1990. Cross overs are AB-2. All original unmolested components.

You will need to bring a receiver to listen to them as I don't have a source to audition them at the moment.

These have been in storage for several years and it's time someone else enjoy them. Due to a bad experience shipping speakers, I would rather not ship these.

$2000 - I'll trade for a new Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM Zoom or partial trade for a New Canon 600EX-RT Flash.. Sorry but no other trades considered.

Please see my Craigslist ad here for a few pictures: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/ele/3755954482.html

    Mike

  2. Cabinets. I live in Antelope, CA (Sacramento) and will give anyone who is willing to drive out here these two wonderfully used cabinets. I hate to throw these out and I'm sure someone can use them before they go to the dump.

Here is the link to my craigslist ad: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/ele/206505517.html

I know that ad says I want $, but reply to my ad and let me know you saw it on the Klipsch forum and they are yours. I have to get these out of here by Thursday or they will end up in the landfill.

Just remember they are not in perfect condition, but a perfect candidate for refurbishing.

  3. I've had both models of 1200's as a DJ since 1987, and they are great direct drive industrial turntables. Technics 1200's set the expectation for TT's in the industrial arena long ago.

If you are having a used one shipped, then make sure the seller will secure the platter so that it will not come off and break the tonearm. The dust covers do not always come with the TT.

I use my 1200's every day and they have not failed me.

I'm not sure if they are regarded as an audiophile TT.

  4. My favorite is a 1.5 chair with a firm bottom cushion and a soft back. I am on the hunt for the perfect ottoman to build a subwoofer into the bottom of it. My previous 1.5 chair had a subwoofer built into the bottom of it and was awesome. I hope the guy that bought my last house is really enjoying it.

  5. As a new member, I was asked to post pictures of the speakers I bought just last week, and I too felt like I was "being called". I then realized that it's just part of the drool factor to see everyone's system.

So why didn't I post my pics? Well, it's only because I am embarrased that I have to keep them in the garage while my wife and I figure out some decorating arrangements and I stop adding to this new collection.

I'm sure the poster will read this thread and join again......

  6. Sounds like a sweet deal! These guys are right about buying Klipsch speakers as an addiction. I auditioned my first pair about 3-4 weeks ago and I am now 2 Heresy pairs, 1 Cornwall pair, and 1 Industrial Heresy richer. This is just too much fun.

  7. Sure did sound like a sweet deal, and I'm sure the buyer will enjoy. The reason I asked was that there is a pair in my area on eBay that I am thinking about bidding on for my collection. I just hate to ship a nice pair only to have the shipping company destroy them.

I did, however, manage to pick up only one Industrial Heresy today. Now the tough job if finding a match begins.

  8. I bought my first pair of Cornwalls the other day from forum member Cyclonecj (Bryan). I was also lucky to find a pair of Heresy's as well.

When she saw what I brought home, she commented, "I thought you were getting Klipschorns."

My wife just loves the sound out of the speakers and has agreed to let me convert one of the rooms to a listening room.

Now I need to add to my speaker collection!

    Thank you again Bryan!
