  1. I'm looking for some black KLF 30's to go with my KLF-20's and C-7. Im in the central arkansas area and would be willing to pick them up if relatively close. Otherwise I need the seller to be willing to ship. PM if anyone knows of, or has any available. Thanks.
  2. I have the shure ec3's and they are amazing. When I have them both in at work I can't hear anything even if there is no music playing and someone is talking to me 5 ft away. I also like that no one else can hear my music if they are in my ear, regardless of the volume level. They are much smaller and in turn much more convenient to travel with. Given that I was flying a minimum of twice a week, (most of which were in excess of 3 hrs) I can tell you 100K miles later, the shures are still amazing and I am really pleased I bought them. The ec4's weren't out at the time I got my ec3's. I would definitely have looked at these had they been. The ec5 was out but even though I found them for 340 it was still to big a price to swallow. Im incredibly pleased with my ec3's performance and I got them for around $139, from ecost. You see the discount once you add them to your basket. As far as customer service goes I accidently stepped on them (bc Im a dumbass and left them on the floor out of the case) and broke one of the earpieces off. I fedexed them back to shure and three days later a new pair were fedexed back to me. GREAT PRODUCT!
  3. They also have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever seen. I purchased my Klipsch KLF-20's there around 9 yrs ago and thank God they haven't had any issues. My parents purchased a 65" Diamond series Mitsu, Denon surrounds, receiver, and dvd. Overall they spent in excess of $15K and the first issue/questions they had Custom audip basically told them there's nothing they can/care to do about it. As far as Mike goes he needs to cut the comeover and quit trying to push BS speakers that don't match with older series. He and another salesman (can't recall his name but he had some sort of lisp/speech impediment) tried to sell me the reference series claiming they would match well with my KLF-20's. As 99.9% of ppl on this board would agree, they most certainly do not. In the end, I wouldn't piss on that store to put a fire out.
  4. I haven't seen a C7 yet on EBAY. The closest thing I have seen is the RC-7 which isnt from the legend series.
  5. Any suggestions on what to use for the Rears/Surround? If I can't find a suitable match to my KLF-20's I will most likely scrap them and start anew.
  6. I have owned a pair of Klipsch KLf-20's for several years now and have been happy with their performance to date. I want to add a center channel and two (possibly 4 for 7.1) rears to go with my KLF-20's. However, I am not sure which speakers I should purchase, given that the KLF-C7 (center channel), along with the rest of this series, is no longer produced. My first thoughts were as follows: Center --> RC-25,RC-35 or RC-7 Rears/Surround--> RS-25,RS-35 or RS-7 I have heard mixed reviews regarding the Reference series. Most of the people I have spoken with do not seem to like them near as much as the discontinued Legend series (KLF). Did the quality truly drop off? Any advice on which rears/surrounds & center matches well with the KLF-20's is appreciated. Im open to all suggestions including non-Klipsch products assuming they mesh well with what I have. Thanks in advance.
