My sub died a year ago and I never got it repaired due to reading threads on here where people had the same problem soon after having it repaired. It's the sub amp that's fried. I wouldn't want to purchase another sub, unless someone fixed the amp problem themselves, because I am afraid it would die again. I really liked those speakers. They sounded great. I'm getting a new desktop to replace my old dead one and need some new 5.1 speakers. I wish there was a different sub I could et that would work with the speakers.

I have a set of ProMedia Ultra 5.1's that died about a year ago. They were the best sounding PC speakers I have owned, but read about a lot of people having the same subwoofer problem and the trouble they have getting it fixed and dying again. Is there a sub that would work with the Klipsch speakers I already have? Are there any plans to upgrade the 5.1 speakers to prevent the problem from happening?? All I see for ProMedia speakers on the site are 2.1.and was hoping there was an upgrade to the 5.1s.
