  3. thanks far the reply man,and your right . I could'nt find it either he actually gave me a price of 575 first then called and said 1475 for both the MIII upgrade and thats him doing all the work Im wondering if he is just trying to take advantage of me .
  4. hi thanks for the reply. and yes you are right I wont be picking up a pair of the real VRD for 375 . what I mean is I can get a pair of my MK III turned into basicly the VRD for 375 per mono Block which are great or I can go with a Curcio upgrarde for 1475 is the curcio upgrade worth 1475 which one should I do , which one is better
  5. thanks for the reply but come on man I need more than WOW, IM stressen here
  6. hey guys I need some good advice here I dont know what to do, craig at nos valves vrds sound great I have heard them and I know that they sound great and the cost to upgrade a pair of MKIII that are close to the VRD is around 375 per mono block, joe curico now has a pair of my mrkIII and wants to upgrade them, the cost is 1475 if its worth it I dont mind paying that price if its really worth it. but honestly I cant see joe's upgrade being any better the Craigs VRD .and is there anyone out there that has paid this price for joe'upgrade I cant find this kind of price on his web site any where . the first time I talked to joe the price was 575 now its suddenly 1475 I think he is price gauging I have been told by a good friend that the first post I wrote was hard to understand I hope this clears things up a bit thanks David . thanks alexthegreatm@bellsouth.net
  7. i have a golden tube SE-60 that has new tung-sol 6550 that repputations even broke in and NOS 6sn7gt, I would rate it a 9 out 10 cosmeticly & the only blemish is the rear corner has a small dent. I recived the amp and replaced the old tubes and then I couldnt find a manuel to set the bias so it has been sitting, I did listen to it long enough to know that it is a great very quite amp that I believe has no issue except the bias needing to be set since it has new tubes, what would be a good fair asking price for this amp as I need the money . come on you guys lets get going I have found that an se40 went for 799.00 and it is a class A-B amp and an SE 85 went for 699.00 this is a class A-B amp the SE60 is a class A amp. you guys are supposed to be the ones that are in the know above all the rest from what I have heard so keep up your reputations and lets get going here unless you all are not as smart as I thought you were but I sure will be sad if thats true so lets have some responce thanks and I know you want disapoint me
