  1. Well they were both listed at the same time when i noticed it,Then the next day the buyer the purchased it for $500 best offer.I dont know any other way to contact the buyer to let him know,I feel sorry for people that get ripped off.I myself do a lot of scanning on ebay before i even bid on something .THANKS Bill for doing this.

  2. As you can see in both auctions the write up is the same for this Marantz receiver,Notice two different users in each auction,The one auction was sold at $500,i feel sorry for the buyer,I did not have the option to notify this buyer what is going on,Ebay wont allow this contact to happen,Stupid on ebays part.Oh and i emailed the sellers to ask about whats going on and no response.

  3. Looks nice,Needs a coat of black piano finish,[:)]Should kick but I would have made the front panel thicker,3/4"mdf is standard to buy and that may have been used. Most 1" mdf around my area is hard to find, or you have to order it.

  4. RF7's are fine speakers ,RF83's are more polite and will be more forgiving.Play anything harsh and the RF7's will tear you a new one,the 83's will only start to irritate.

For best results a high quality tube amp is a must(RF7's),with RF83's a quality receiver will match well.

I heard the rf-5 and they seem to be less bright on the top end than the rf-7,I also found them to be a touch cleaner sounding.
  5. Just listed a KSW-12 on Ebay for $260 with Free Shipping. Anyone interested should check it out.

This sub must be a hot topic ,Klipsch keeps on double/triple postng.[:o]

You except trades for sony subwoofer ? I have four of the ksw 12, I need just 1 more to fill in the boom at the front of my HT.[:'(]

  7. [:$]Interesting,the RT-12d performs quite well,generating a max output of 110dB @ 32hz and a respectable 105dB @ 25Hz.

Versus only 106dB @ 32Hz for the f112,not good. The f113 should add 2-3dB to this figure, being at the same output as a RT-12d.Still not to my liking. I am demanding a price reduction here. [:@]

My Sunfire Signature beats these numbers @ 32hz with ease! What a joke,I am disgusted,to say the least. What is this a Tonka sub? [:$]

Wait a minute my RSW15 beats all the above at 32Hz! [:$] badly

I am going to puke....excuse me...

Ok I am back... I see after browsing thier website my Paradigm seismic 12 did 109dB at 25hz ! besting the JL f112 and RT-12d! WOW not bad for a more compact and less expensive sub!!!!

SO Paradigm Seismic 12 beats the Klipsch TR-12d on very deep bass(looking at the 25hz output)!!! Hm and is more compact, same type of design, both use a 12" woofer and twin PR's. Hmmm

Now ...pass me the puke bucket [:$]

Ok I give up,ANADA or nothing. Enough toying around, time for performance that leaves these in the dust. COUGH

    Excuse the typos...its late 1:15AM here... [+o(]

Yes king of subwofer fanatics,24 subs and adding if you have to know.

You need one more o in Woofer[:)]

  8. I saw this HP advertisement the other night where you can buy one of their new widescreen laptop computers with all sorts of goodies for $799. And the thought hit me, "Why that's waaaay cheaper than a Klipsch RT12d".

So how in Sam Hills can a wooden box with a driver and some electonics cost $2K and a relatively sophisticated laptop computer cost $800????

    Tom

Depending on what income range you are in ,2g to spend on a sub for some people is not to much. The builders and designers from klipsch have to eat to.How they slap to gether those laptops ,I dont know.
  9. Nice choice, Wuzzer!!

I've had one of those "Water heater" sized subs for 6 yrs and still enjoying it.

    Enjoy!!!!

    JJ

I had a Ultra water heater for 2 days,How good it was after many tests I dont know ,BUT...We all agreed 7 of us, after hours of testing it was better to pull the plastic port top off and use it for a garbage can on the city street. A Ratshack sub performs better.
  10. I do have cats...two of them to be exact! One of them still has his claws. If I ever see him doing anything to the SVS he'll be in a box on the way to the vet!

i have a friend that had svs cylinders until he sold them,The cat and dog scratched them all up,Then they tipped them over and the dog chewed the svs woofers to pieces,What a mess, cone metal rubber and garbage all over the place.[:)][:D][:D],Whats funny is it happened again ,The dog tipped the cylinders over,But never touched the new drivers,He replaced them with Adire drivers. Gee even animals no better whats good.[:P]
  11. SVS,They are a Joke[:(]

    ?Explain? [:^)]

Exactly how Fish explains it below OVERHYPED,I tried plenty of them and owned the ultra cylinder for two days until i sent it back,Lost money as normal $400.00, like all canadians would sending the ultra back,I had smaller 10" subs that would chew the svs ultra cylinder to pieces during tests, they are alright if you never heard many other subs in your life time[:)]I always wondered why there were so many Canadian customers with SVS up for sale used .Ive seen 1/2 dozen ultras used since i sent mine back, and also seen plenty of pb12+ 2 used more than ultra, and they were all canadian owners,Good thing i just tested all the other svs subs ,or i would have lost alot more money ,I guess other Canadians got stung to reading all the hyped up posts in many forums.I also found out from many other forum friends that they sent theirs back as well. What seems so surprizing, that i never have to send a klipsch product back.
