  1. I am currently running 2 F-3's, 2 S-3's, 1 C-3, and 1 SW-12. My receiver is a Yamaha HTR-5850. Yes, i know it's a 6.1 and I'm only running 5.1 . I was thinking about upgrading it but I'm not sure if upgrading it would provide a better performance with my speakers or not. My budget is around a $1000. Any ideas/suggestions or should I just stay with this receiver? Here's a link to the receiver. http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-HTR-5850-XM-Ready-6-1-Channel-Surround/dp/B0008GQQDG Thanks in advance for the advice everyone [] .
  2. Preferably 5.1, I know the yamaha reciever can do 6.1, i just don't have enough money right now to buy the other speaker. Thanks
  3. The reciever says it can do 110watts rms, does that mean it will be good for this set up?
  4. I am currently using 2 SF-3's, the SC-3, the SW-12 and the 2 SS-3's. My reciever is the Yamaha HTR-5950. Is this a good reciever for these speakers? Thanks in advance for the help.
  5. Wow, thanks a lot guys, I really wasn't expecting all the feedback. Thank you so much for the help! Micah
  6. Yeah, i know audio is one of my favorite new things i'm in to. I LOVE sound so much! Thanks for the help, i'm definitely going to look into those.
  7. I got a real crappy reciever and I was wanting to get a better one if possible. The reciever i'm using a cheap one at walmart.com by pioneer with supposedly 1000watts at 100 watt rms per channel, 5.1. My center speaker is the Synergy C-3 and the sub is the Synergy Sub-12. This is the website for the reciever http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3880829 I'm using the other speakers it came with for now. I was wondering, should I go Synergy all the way? With the S-3's and the F-3's? Any help would be great!
