  1. EAR, Your contribtions to home audio subs have been nothing short of outstanding in the last few years. Keep up the great work! Your a great charecter with outstanding knowledge and influence in the subwoofer market...
  2. Ear, Dual F113 will put you back close to 5000 dollars with a deal. I can literally fill my entire living room with valors for that price...
  3. EAR, I would love to see Chad develop a sealed 18" woofer with the Conquest driver.
  4. Craigsub thread only is what I was trying to imply. I will try to word my posts better next time. Thank you
  5. Without question this thread has led to fanboys of the ED, Epik, SVS, & now AV123 to many posters who will regularilly post how there sub is the best bang for the buck with no other data other than Craigs ranking thread. Everyday this thread is becoming a more and more powerful tool in steering soon to be buyers into a purchase. Good or bad not my call...
  6. I will leave it alone. Have a great weekend! Jon
  7. EAR.. Have you ever questioned the validity of Craigsubs rankings. One man seems to sure have a huge impact on peoples perception on what to buy. I have always wondered if he is working in his own self interest..... Why would somebody invest that many of thousands of dollars in subwoofers to only post a number and then sell them off later.
  8. Double J. Since our last meeting I decided to place the conquest on its side and change its orignal placement. Without question the placing the Conquest on its side and changing its location has improved its performace both muscially and movies in my current set-up. I have however come under the realization with my current set-up that I am restricted on all the possibilities of ideal placement of the Conquest.
  9. Q-Man, I am still overwhelmed by the incredible performace of the Conquest. The Conquest has dramtically improved the sounstage of my 26 x 24 basment with room filling body punching, hair raising bass that literally take my breath away every time I listen to it. A night and day difference TIme to get back to work Jon Send me a PM if you want to talk
  10. Michael, I have never had a more pleasurable experience with home audio and could not be happier with my purchase. Jon
  11. Metellica "one" chest pounding tight lights out... wow ( Jacksonbart... My RF-7s have never sounded better) Star Wars Episode III: Incredible lows... The Conquest completally pressurized my entire entire basement with body pounding bass. Musically: I just wish the Conquest would have come out 3 years sooner. Conclusion: Yes its big... This sub has brought back the fun in home audio... Back to listening Jon
  12. This is one amazing sub. Gesus.... I am speechless in what I am hearing Still in the Woooooo stage.... Jon
  13. Gary, The RSW-15 is being put away in safe storage.... Jon
  14. Good point... At 435 lbs the sheer thought of moving the A7-900 into my house and finding its final resting place was enough for me to look another direction. I justified my decision on the A7900 as "overkill" for my listening needs. Jon
  15. Sivadsilam & CECAA850....... I hope to have pics up this week with the Conquest and RSW side by side. Shipped on a pallet this sub weighs 365 lbs keeping in mind Chad at Epik uses plywood to enclose the box for maximum protection. Craigsub on the other forum will be doing a shootout with the Conquest vs the ED A7900 monster. This should be good...
  16. Ideally I would like to arrange for local pick-up if possible. The only ordeal I have at the preset moment is I am missing the original foam packaging but still have the original box. My solution is six bags "Instapak Quick RT" which when opened creates a foam polyurethane that forms around the product. I would package the corners, top, & bottom with foam & double to triple box with reinforced cardboard padding that would span the entire enclosure. In theory, while I add an additional 7 LBS of extra protection this should make transporting it virtually bullet-proof, I have been following the Klipsch forums for years and know that this sub would fall into good hands with the right buyer. This sale is will stand on the Klipsch forum and Craigslist for the next 3-4 days and after that I will pursue Ebay. Thanks again guys Jon My set-up RF-7S, RC-7, Matching surrounds, Sunfire 5 channel amp, Emotiva MMC-1 pre-amp, & soon to be Conquest. This sub will be dearly missed Jon
