Ok, I have a pair of RB35 speakers. I need to know what type of speaker stands you would recommend...I looked at some THX or dolby digital website and it says to put these speakers behind the couch... So my couch is 35 inches high.. How tall of speaker stands do I need? 30in? 34in? Please help..

If the price range was from $1000-$2000 to spend, what would you guys recommend?

Ok, so i got some klipsch rf-5s today....it was weird, the foots were already attached to the speaker base...is that normal? I had the rf-25s before and had to screw them on myself...

I am confused. Ok, so I have the Reference 35 series (RF-35, RC-36, RB-35, RS-35, 12" sub dont know the model). I am drawn to the fact that there are so many types of speaker wire out there. Bi-wire to regular, to even "center channel speaker wire".. Special speaker wire for your center channel??... On top of that, they have your regular, to medium to high end in each category. The ultimate question is, does expensive speaker wire really make a difference? What would you recommend me? Please help before i get white hairs!!!!

Hey Grant09, I actually faced the same situation. I had the RC-25 though and just got my RC-35. You can tell the difference. I am not an expert so I won't be able to tell you all the technical differences, but you can just hear it. As far as mismatching, i was told that it was ok....but others might tell you differently..

nice try oldbuckster...as much as i asked about how good the receiver is, I still do like it. complicated to use, but its good... yea, i did start asking $700 for both, but don't know if that's to low or to high

how much you guys think I can sell my Rf-25 and RC-25 for?

So here's a change in subject. What do you guys think honestly I can get for a set of RF-25's and a RC-25?? Also, would you trade the RF-35 for the RF-7's? And if I was to use RF-7's with the rest of my 35's (RC-35, RS-35 and RB-35), would it ruin the so called imaging or accurate surround sound?

Good question..it's not that I am not happy with it, but my theory is to make sure that I am matching everything properly to get the right setup. I can probably use a crappy receiver and still not notice the difference. well that may be a little extreme, but you get my drift. So I guess I just want confirmation and advice as to whether or not I am putting together my HT correctly and will have good quality sound..
